WARRANTY ITEMS

I. Warranty Period

For the Olelon battery, a warranty service of 8 (Eight) years is provided from the date of manufacture.

For accessories such as chargers, cables, etc., a warranty service of one year is provided from the date of purchase.

The warranty period may vary by country and is subject to local laws and regulations.

II. Warranty Statement

Distributors are responsible for providing service to customers. Free parts and technical support are provided by Olelon to our distributors.

- Olelon provides warranty under the following conditions:

  • The product is within the specified warranty period;

  • The product is normally used, without man-made quality problems;

  • No unauthorized disassembly, maintenance, etc;

  • Product serial number, factory label and other marks are not torn or altered.

III. Exclusions of Warranty

1. The battery was not properly secured or fixed during transportation, causing overturning or damage. It is recommended to stack no more than four layers, and transportation time should not exceed four months.

2. Damage caused by storing the battery outside the recommended conditions, such as exposure to extreme temperatures, fire, freezing, or water damage.

3. Loose battery terminal connections.

4. Reverse polarity connections.

5. Any short circuit caused by accidental, intentional, or inadvertent connection of the positive and negative terminals.

6. Damage due to impact, accident, or collision, including dropping or mishandling.

7. Undercharging or overcharging the battery, as defined in its respective data sheet.

8. Use of the battery with incompatible third-party products.

9. Damage due to high resistance caused by corroded terminals, poor crimps, or insufficient cable size.

10. Battery failure caused by a faulty electrical system or improper installation.

11. Modification or tampering of the battery by anyone other than a manufacturer representative.

12. The battery was used for applications beyond its intended design, such as repeated engine starting or drawing more amps than it is rated to discharge.

13. The battery was not charged at least once every six months or was left uncharged for more than seven consecutive days, or stored at temperatures exceeding 45°C with low charge.

14. The battery was used in commercial applications where it was cycled to more than 80% depth of discharge repeatedly within 24-hour periods.

15. The battery has reached its normal end of life, even if it falls within the warranty period.

16. Batteries purchased from unauthorized dealers or resellers.

V. Remedy

If a device becomes defective during the warranty period recognized by Olelon, Olelon or its local authorized service partner is obligated to provide service to customer, the device will be subject to our option below:

  • repaired by Olelon service center, or

  • repaired on-site, or

  • swapped for a replacement device with equivalent specifications according to model and service life.

In the third case, Olelon will send the replacement device after RMA is confirmed. The replaced device will inherit the remaining warranty period of the previous device. In this case, you do not receive a new warranty card since your warranty right is recorded in Olelon service database.

Note:

  • Shipping, Labor, and Additional Fees: These costs are not covered under the warranty.
  • No Implied Warranties: Unless explicitly stated, Olelon Energy does not assume any other form of warranty liability, such as implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
  • Limitation of Liability: The sole remedy for any issues with the battery within the warranty period is a replacement battery, and the compensation amount will not exceed the original value of the battery. If the issue is not covered by the warranty, Olelon Energy may offer repair services at a charge.
  • Return Shipping Requirements: All returns must be shipped in a UN-approved shipping box for lithium batteries and must be registered prior to return.
